Agree with you there mate,Diame was a decent bloke, at the open training session pre season at the Boleyn he was signing autographs at the end and I got a nice photo of him with my daughter, she was made up...he always had time for the fans.

Don't suppose we will never know whether he did his best but it's all about opinions ain't it..

Lovely bloke but in my view he got lazy

Evening Stevo, a players personality goes a long way with me mate particularly when most can't be @rsed with the fans. I said the same with Carlton Cole, neither may have been the best players in the world and they should probably both find other clubs but I would take them over the Diouf & Barton types every day of the week.

When I saw Rav & Diame signing those kids autographs I couldn't help but think of what a c.unt Demba Ba was for refusing to sign a fans souvenir book at the end of year awards ceremony.

Never quite had the end product - shame as he looked very good at times.

Good luck to him - unlucky to be stuck on the wing of late.

Regarding the Ba story, I heard it all kicked off when he was signing the book and was asked how he was and replied "tired" - fan let him have it along the lines of "how the f uck are you tired" and the book got slung back at him.

Decent player Diame. fatman played him out of position too often. he aint a winger. we signed him as a central midfield player so why stick him out on the wing. managers a **** end of.

For me he was a decent player but always tried to beat one man too many and so ran out of stamina an hour into the game. He was best used as a sub for 30 mins.

Liverpool away and Chelsea at home the only really top performances.

He was awesome against Arsenal last year as well. Shame it didn't work out, think he has all the makings for a top player. Remember initially he was very impressive, with many having him down as our best player.

Something was missing, whether it was down to his attitude or how he was deployed (or a bit of both) I don't know. The fact that none of the bigger clubs have come in for him would suggest he has much to prove.

In my humble opinion flattered to deceive, could never find the final pass after a good run and his shooting was a bit haphazard to say the least. If we did get 8mill for him which I cannot believe! That is fantastic business!

£8m?? Where did you get that from Blockhead? I read 3.5, which seemed a bit on the low side to be fair.

i thought we'd be lucky to get 2mil for him, particularly as we were trying to make room.
