    Enough said there
    On the other hand Tesco have opened up into banking in Scotland regardless of independence
    The scare****ering from the establishment will get worse as we get nearer to the vote
    Sad to see all the buns on here voting no based on their love for a football team and the queen

    80% owned by the taxpayer. And seeking protection of a central bank in event of another crash - which is entirely sensible. I've yet to see a statement that they're closing down operations and therefore cutting jobs in Scotland though. :/

    Salmond is correct though - a straightforward statement on currency union post independence will knock all the uncertainty on the head overnight. But that's nae in Westminster's gameplan - unspecified carrots and big sticks is the preferred method.
