We need to come up with an anthem which doesn't be little anybody for a change and encapsulates our national Identity,
I'd go for OASIS 'Don't look back in anger' especially as Robus wouldn't get it coz he thinks they're $h1te!

from an Owls fan, great start for you lads, as with us a real football club, I only looked on here to see what activity there is, as expected it's busy as ours always is...real fans you see...we played Reading yesterday, so I looked on their board, as expected nothing, no activity since the 5th September...plastic fans, only up for it when they're top of the league.

good luck for the rest of the season, except when we meet of course.

How apt that today is the day we talk about hope and glory.

My friends, there IS a place on earth that is all about HOPE and also all about GLORY.

That place, my friends, is the place they call "Sandwell".

It may well be one of the less sought after boroughs of Birmingham, but there is hope.

Hope because they finally won a game.

    And glory.

Glory because, well, because they finally won a game.

Agreed, I have always had an affection for them and I have seen them play, against Sheffield United, at Hillsborough, but nobody sang Land of Hope and Glory or Jerusalem!

    Cracking match - ended 2-2!

DudleyWolf...Stuart Gray is doing an amazing job, he's turned round the team that Dave Jones had, yes he's added a few, and he's got them playing much better.

Jones sent Maguire out on loan, Gray brought him back and he started to knock the goals in, players that Jones ignored are now playing far,far better than the lads that were playing, and the lads that Jones played are now playing much better.

best manager we've had since Big Ron.

Thats it Wokey, Im finished on here if its going to be a Fowl love fest

They arent my cup of tea for obvious reasons, but I do like Stuart Gray. He was one of my favourite Barnsley players in the 80s, a real utility man who played in most positions and regularly scored goals. I wish we had him in our team now!!

Hi Acido! What about Mick McCarthy? Did you see him play and would you like him in your team now?

Dont you remember me saying/suggesting Wokes, thats probably the reason why I got started (and then I stuck with you all) on here, it was the connection with 'our' Mick Mac

Yes Id love to see the no nonsense central defender that Mick was back in our team again. I could bore you all with who Id like to see in our team again
