"One of them"... Well, at least we know what position you're coming at this from Turnbull.

If Logan says he was racially abused, he was racially abused. It's as simple as that.

Why is it that simple? Because he plays for Aberdeen?

No, it's because the alleged perpetrator plays for Celtic.

While I am loathed to join in any hysteria over "racism" I can't see why Shay Logan would lie. Which means Tonev has been a bit of a tool.

Own up, apologise, take your medicine and move on.

The thing is, it's almost certainly Logan's word against Tonev's. He almost certainly said it, but corroborating that is unlikely unless someone else on the pitch heard it or the TV pictures show the incident and Tonev's lips are readable.

I believe Logan because I see no reason for him to lie here.

I'm intrigued by what you mean by 'take your medicine and move on'?

If a player has made a racist comment surely the 'medicine' should be expulsion from the club?

I mean he should fess up and accept his punishment, whatever it may be.

My point is that Celtic are an inherently odious club that have been shown in the past to deploy double standards on issues of a moral, ethical or discriminatory nature, not least on the issue of sectarianism.

I wouldn't trust Tonev's word on this as a result, nor Celtic's for that matter.

An interesting philosophy - the guy complained so he must have done it.

So you have no evidence that Tonev said anything racist to the Aberdeen player but you have made your mind up because the guy plays (on loan) for Celtic?

Sorry I thought I was discussing this with an adult.
