We didn't play well tonight but still managed to win. Not a bad habit to get into. Unfortunately Chris Cohen is out for the season with yet another cruciate injury.
How ****ing good will i look when i'm right, though!

Still believe he won't make 20. Might be wrong on Martin scoring more though. I'll admit that.
Give it up, he's got 39 games to find 12 more, even the most rose tinted rival fan wouldn't be wagering on him not reaching the target.

Plus we haven't even counted his cup goals.

His positioning and pace, not to mention power is looking alright for this division.

There's even talk of D R Congo wanting him for the African Cup of nations come January.
I don't think he'll get 20. Nothing wrong with

Even if he does score 20-25 goals iti is no guarantee of automatic promotion.

Very true MM. However, a killer goal scorer, can get you a win out of nothing when a draw looks likely.
This lad can do that. He works his socks off wanting the ball back and then he is in the right place at the right time in the box.
You can't teach that, it's a gift. Folks laughed at the 5.5M tag, but we won't hold on to him long. He'll go the same way as Colleymore.

If he does get an African cup of nations call up then he will be missing for a month to 6 weeks. A big loss to the team. Comparing Britt to Martin is a bit disingenuous. They are different kinds of player...Martin has a better all round game, can play just off a striker like at Charlton in the cup game when he came on as a sub or as a loan striker. Britt just seems to be a penalty box predator. Plus Martin doesn't take penalties.

Value for money wise though Martin is head and shoulders above anything else in this divison. Free transfer and 25 goals yet it was Ulloa 17 goals and McCormack 25 goals who got the big money moves.

Martins had 1 good season. Spent too long at Norwich and bounced from piller to post. Four loan moves before finally getting transferred.
He may have found his niche at Derby, but he still has to prove that now.
You're wrong about Assombalonga as well. He is a box striker, purely because he anticipate
