it was 35 years ago! that's the only game I can remember about that season, actually no we got to a final at Wilks park, cant remember who against and was subbed at half time, took a knock straight on the kneecap...very painful! Didn't score the guy that went on in my place missed a penalty to make it 1-1 lost 1 nil!

Oh and the great Carlton Cole once scored a goal in 5 straight games in the 2008/9 season. Go figure.

Tony Cottee scored in 7 straight games in 1985. (1 goal in each game)

David Cross scored 9 goals in a 6 game spell in 1980. (1,1,1,2,1,3)

John D1ck did it 4 times. 7 goals in 6 games in 1954. 7 goals in 7 games in 1957. 6 goals in 5 games in 57/58 and 5 in 5 in 1960.
