We are not a country, the sh1tebags and self serving cvunts chose to remain a region. 48% plastic Jocks saw to that.. (seeing as they like the eligible vote way of counting)[/quote]

Wee Steviex sounds like a right bitter little k@nt, makes me really glad I voted No.

Putting aside the sheer drivel spouted by others since this post, and getting back to discussing the point made at hand, I actually agree with your analysis here Wally.

Luma, I would caution against too high praise for Poland. I watched the game against against Germany and they lucked out. They scored 2 goals completely against the run of play. I've absolutely no idea how Germany didn't score.

Poland are way better than Georgia, but if we play to our potential we can get something.

great result for poland and the first time ever they have scored v germany or the old equivelant west germany in competative football, they did score once in a freindly in 1970 or something. a guy in the pub said this was polands best side ever, i disagree, they were far better in 1974 and finished 3rd in the world cup.

its obvious germany are suffering some sort of world cup hangover and have lost players to injury and retirement but they will improve and take first place.

scotland played well on saturday and were a bit unlucky not to win by more, but still a good result considering england, sweden and italy only beat minnows by one goal too.

i think we can get a draw in poland and hopefully we go for the win and unsettle the poles.

We should be able to get a result in Poland, against the unofficial world champions.

FFS - what's the fuss about. Germany were lucky against the Argies - if they'd a half decent striker it would have been over by half time.

germany deserved to win the world cup, they also created chances in the final which could have gone in, and the goal they scored against a tight argentina defence was one of the best world cup goals ever.

infact argentina didnt get 1 shot on target in that final, germany got 4.

Poland aren't a good side. They've got more than us up front, and that's a danger because our centre halves are utter shyte, but they're certainly not a side Scotland can't compete with.

I'd play Naismith up on his own. Fletcher didn't look quite sharp enough on Saturday.

Tonight's a must-not-lose for us. A point and we're still looking ok. Points will be dropped between Ireland and Poland. Four points from each will leave us looking good, even allowing for Poland's win over Germany.

Don't be fooled by the scoreline. Poland were played off the park and could just as easily have taken a right humping. The worry is that the result might give them a wee bounce going into our game. However, anyone familiar with Polish people and Polish football knows that they are like us in the respect that they are most likely to fail when they get their hopes up.
