According to you lot Pearce is an idiot/thicko so obviously we wasn't going to achieve anything with him in charge.
You did win the League back in August so Fair Play.
We didn't win it we was just happy with how things were going.especially after listening to you lot,we would of been bottom of the league with no hope.

Yes he will lead us back, and as you say there will be lots of twists and turns along the way, but promising players don't come through the system just two months after he starts with the club. One thing in in favour is that our financial resources are greater than yours and if all things are equal then this fact alone will work in our favour.

You say that as though its fact, how do you explain players not being on time, numerous suppliers issuing WUP's against you, players left to pick up the tab with their own cards after a night out

It may well be a fact that you have the greater financial resources, but it's simply a hope rather than a fact that it will work in your favour. How much did Derby spend while Doughty was splashing out £100 million? Who had the greater success?

I don't know, how much did Derby spend while Doughty was splashing out £100 million? While one may question the success or otherwise of Nigel Doughty he did prevent Forest falling to the depth that Notts County did which was just to escape dropping out of the Football League. I'm really pleased that Notts County are in a play off position in Division 1, but please remember that this was the lowest position that Forest under Nigel's watch ever descended to.

Not quite. What about the 7th place finish in League 1 in the 2005/6 season?

Can't argue with that. That's the trouble when you're content with approximations and can't be bothered with 100% accuracy. In fact we did sink to one or two positions below that when we got rid of Gary Megson, still that's a hell of a long way from the nether regions which Notts County have sunk to in the past. Still that's history and hopefully Notts County will now do it's bit for Nottingham Sport and also more hopefully Shaun Derry will not get cherry picked by another club.

I still see them being there or thereabouts come end of the season, but it's nice to have a little gap between us.
