    Trophies always!!
Tearing a new one in sides who still play in traditional strips maybe enjoyable for you but it won't get you anything till you parade that major trophy at the end of the season.
Cherries fans new song surely has to be anything you can do---
-----we can do but Skates can't.

That's easy to say when your past had nothing to offer.[/quote]

On that basis you must be delighted that England won the World Cup in 1966, and happy that we have hardly competed since.

Just to qualify the above post in case you think I'm being unpatriotic. I would love to see England be competitive during my lifetime and I doubt very much that fans of countries like Denmark, Greece, France, USA or Costa Rica who have seen their teams being really competitive during their lifetime, even if they didn't necessarily win things, give one moments thought to England winning the World Cup in 1966.

If I had the time I would trawl through and find some of those gloating posts back in the summer from Bile, Simon and Tarquin, et al. It must make them pig sick to see us leapfrogging Man City in to 2nd while they get beat by Shrewsbury!

    Absolutely it does, of course.
The only consolation at the moment being that it never lasts forever, unfortunately right now it looks like lasting longer than we'd hoped, enjoy it while it lasts

It's so much easier to hate Manchester United

I'm pleased when Pompey or Saints win.
I'm disappointed when Saints or Pompey lose.
I'm delighted when Pompey beat Saints.

Always amazes me how much energy and time is wasted in hating your neighbours. There must be a point to it but it's missing me.

And so you should, but none of the charity thieves were Pompey fans so why hate them?
And don't start about us being happy to benefit from the thievery, we didn't know we were being robbed blind until much later.
