    1. Lose your manager.
    2. Sell your best 4 players.
    3. Sit pretty in a Champions League slot.

And all this with a profit of £30m on their Summer transfer dealings.
As a rule of thumb look at fictures. If they have palyed Manure, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool or a good chunk of these in 9 games and up there they are probably a good side! If not the expect the slide!

It amazes me when people go on about sides sliding but at the end of the season 9 times out of 10 they coincide with the strength of opposition played.

Us so far this season on current placings have played mostly teams around the middle and bottom. If we dont do so well against the sides around the top people start shouting about slides and this tha and the other.

The nature of man is that: He has to strive to reach his level of incompetence.

Well, how negative can you get?
There's lots of clubs in the PL our club is well capable of finishing above.
Hey, we've even won the top flight twice before !
Don't tell me it was easier back then. Absolute rubbish.I was there.
Just cos the transfer fees are inflated doesn't mean the quality of the football is higher. It's definitely not.
We might even get European football.
We need good management, someone who can bring in undiscovered talent, the right blend in the team and we can compete with anyone.
If we go out out with the attitude that we can't then we will fail.
If you don't push forward in football. you go backwards.
