...they've got six or seven players in the squad who used to play for Swindon. Pritchard's the only one not past his best

I'll go 2-1 Derby, very close game.

Would be interesting to read the Brentford predictions on their forum, but you can't read the threads on the busiest one which is called something to do with Grapevine without signing up.

You have to answer a random question and it's wrong every time so won't be reading their forum for their views on us then!

    1. The famous "Beast of Brentford" was last sighted in 2009. It is bird like and resembles a dragon, or perhaps a gryphon, and allegedly lives on an island in the middle of the Thames. It preys on small domestic pets such as cats and dogs, so Ratty, its safe for you to go to this game.

    2. The last Brentford Nylons store closed in 1995. The chain famously had a 1970's advertising campaign fronted by DJ Alan "Fluff" Freeman. It was once owned by Tiny Rowland's conglomerate, Lonhro. Rowland and our dear departed Robert Maxwell were both hewn from the same stone, although only one of them fell off a boat.

    3. Syon park, which is close by Brentford, was the site of a decisive battle in the English Civil War in 1642. The royalists won and trashed Brentford in an act of post match euphoria. Will the DLF do the same?

We only played them twice in the 80's Ratty: both draws, so I'm not sure who you went to see "three or four times"? We haven't won there since 1947.

On the other hand Sheffield United did play there 4 times in the 80's.

I know I've been there three or four times. One was midweek if you check as was a nightmare to get back from. Not sure if one was a cup game. Not many there. There was an Anglo Italian which may have just been in 90s and then a fa cup game but that was in 00s.

Definitely been there three or four times!

Ella ones in the road the other not had much time to do much with. I'm guessing you work 9 to 5 quite local if you have had the time and don't have much of a life I have to admit I've been watching some great samba football and experiencing some amazing atmospheres tho ... Something's you won't in uk football these days sadly ... Unlike the 80s

Roger I'm stifling a massive snigger here. But you might want to check again. We played them twice in the league in the 80s and once in the freight rover trophy away.

    Now tell me what's 2 + 1

Oh sorry you always take 1 and 1 and get anything but the right answer
