That sums it up pretty well. I've been guilty myself since wolves and Watford of thinking we've finally cracked it, and are back to end of last season form, nbut there are a lot of teams thinking the same. We've generally bounced back quite well from poor displays, and need to again. Will there come a time when our motivation, SMc telling us to focus and perform to our very best each game starts to falter, and a few cracks appear in our team spirit, or will we slowly, as we have been doing, keep responding to loses with mini winning runs and slowly pull away?

It's an old adage, but we really do need to take each game as it comes and make sure we pick off teams who aren't at the top of their game.

What a set of powderpuffs you really are.
If you didn't know football is a fast, furious and physical game, the money and rewards gained by promotion to the PL makes it like that.
Get off your high horses you talk about being physical when what all your midfielders did especially Hughes was to kick lumps out of the Brazilian wonderkid Adryan.
For the record you had 5 bookings to our 4 so what does that tell you.
Do you expect teams just to lie down and let you win or would you rather see the excitement of yesterday.
What we have is 2 great clubs both with passionate fans and both with history going full at it,remember its a mans game and I give credit to the Ref for letting some of the physical side of the game go.

Agree with most of what you've said but Adryan should be in Hollywood not Leeds he would have won an Oscar after he got fouled. Hughes does moan a lot at refs which I don't like but he's not dirty.

it's impossible for results to 'prove' it's a weaker league than last year. the only thing results can prove is that there may or may not be less disparity between the teams at the top. just because it's tighter doesn't mean it's weaker. on the contrary it shows that it's more competitive.[/quote]

In trying to disagree with me you've actual proved my point as I have been staying this all along but saying if you use basic factors it looks like there have been no improvent. well there we have it. chris martin no confidence my ****!

moral of the story is not everyone will play well every game. occasionally players may go 2 games without playing great. form is temporary, class is permanent. chris martin and this team in general has class. stick with them.
