FAILdale you can have faith but that's not based on evidence is it. Wristslasher echos what I have been for a long time. Improvement seems to have stalled in all areas of the club over the last 12 months.

You can't support your arguement by financial evidence, using signings as evidence, using players being developed as evidence and now results as evidence... But you try and weigh it all off saying you have ""faith"

So basically you have ****** all. Just put you hand up and say you were wrong.

The only faith you should be using is the current management can turn it around. Although I personally can't see what you would base that on. Their time at florest

Out of interest, which players ah the same agents? Would be very interested to know this, seem to remember a rumour Sam Rush's old agency had something to do with it...

If this is the case why do we have bigger gates and 22500 Plus season ticket holders they must like what they see.

I know what you're saying it may appear that way! But I am very much a fan of McClaren who in my opinion is the second best current English coach.

I know we spent the whole of our budget on one player in the summer and that has hindered us, but we keep hearing about this fantastic recruitment department, all this hard work they are putting in etc, etc, and Macca himself has been saying the MOST important thing in a football club is the player recruitment, but for me there is a touch of the emperors new clothes about it - because this new lot haven't actually recruited anybody. In a season and a half (nearly) you would expect at least one FIRST NAME ON THE TEAM SHEET type playe

Well who knows what would the situation would be IF Thorne (who would is a significant permanent signing) had stayed fit?

You can't overlook the fact that his wages are still on the books and to keep the squad together their wages have gone up, so there is a touch of fantasy football here where budgets and FFP rules eem not to enter the equation.

Yes many fans seem to want new signings , but then they dont pay the bills and keep the club on an even keel, we have seen what happens when clubs risk financial melt down in pursuit of success, surely we don't want that to happen to Derby?

Wouldn't argue that another striker and left abck are required, it is a case though of finding the right ones we can afford.

Every fan I speak to at the matches seems to have the same opinion...

    LEFT BACK
    CENTRE BACK
    POWERFUL MIDFIELDER
A CENTRE FORWARD with pace who can run in behind

January is the time to turn a nearly team into a title winning team.[/quote]

A left back who can offer genuine competition/cover for Forsyth does seem to everyone to be an obvious need. A definite upgrade in cb area would help, but not too unhappy with what we have. Just need a settled pairing IMO.

Can't see the point in a new cm with Thorne due back. Maybe a short term loan for now, at most.

Striker who can run in behind would be very low on my list. We don't
