Clearly, but if you wanted something deleted from the internet, why would you repost it?

The thread title should be 'Funny old posts you want to quote so everyone can have a good laugh at them'.

Not really, I once started a thread called, 'Chick Young, the revealing science of God & the glory of the Necromancer, part III, dance of the fire puppets'.

Well the OP has written 'you' rather than 'I' & has quoted an old post for us to laugh at.

Perhaps he meant that the post is something everyone else would like to be deleted from the internet although I suspect he meant that it's a post he'd like to quote for us all to laugh at given that's the effect this thread has had. I kinda wish I could delete this thread from the internet because it's starting to give me a headache, did he want Walter's post deleted from the internet & if so, why has he reposted it all these months later & while we're at it, if a tree falls in a rainforest, where will the sloths live?

Yes, so 'You' here is informal 'one'.

If he'd said 'Things one wishes one could delete from the internet 1316' it has the same, albeit more formal, meaning. It doesn't actually mean you (the reader) and definitely doesn't mean I (himself).

So we're agreed that no-one wants Walter's post deleted from the internet?

    Well, apart from Walter
