    The cup might not be a priority but we don't want to risk any red faces with a bad show against non league opponents.
    That would cause morale to drop I reckon.

    Agreed. We need to get through this one, and hope for a big away tie vs. Man Utd, City, Chelsea etc and get knocked out in non-embarrassing circumstances.

    I'm with Toogles too on this one. That team should be good enough to get through at home and would be good to see how they play against Conference side.

    Would also give an opportunity for someone to step up and put themselves in contention. They will be up for it, this will be the biggest game many of them have/will play in. Southport that is.
