    Apologies for not being clear.

    I don't think Steve will divert from a 3 man midfield, nor do I think he should.

    When I say 4-4-2, I'm referring to a "plan-B" within a match, not from the start. A few times this season, Steve's put Best on for Eustace. It leads to us getting more men in the box, as we play more directly, but Leon doesn't seem to do much once there. I reckon Bent would thrive is a role like this.

    The contract is 12k a week according to what I have heard.

    I think he'll start as an option from the bench.

    A decent option!

    Might have seen an indication of McClarens thinking regarding Bent on Saturday when Martin, Russell and Ibe came on.

    Martin played a little deeper with Russell further forward on the shoulder of the last defender at times.

    Perhaps getting Martin used to new role with Russell playing where Bent would?

    My team for Ipswich would be;

    -Grant-

    -Christie- -Keogh- -Buxton- -Forsyth-

    -Eustace-

    -Hughes- -Hendrick- -Russell-

    -Martin-

    -Bent-

    For me we need to have more steel and legs in this game because Ipswich are going to work their socks off against us. Think the above team presents a more solid line-up that will not be out-fought like previous games such as against Middlesborough.

    We still have width with Russell and Christie pushing forward ( Eustace covering Christie when he overlaps ) Hughes will play further forward out of the
