Good points WDS, especially the '90 min Alamo' that's the best analogy I've heard to describe our season.
For once it would be great to watch deadline day on Sky with the reporter at Fir Park (and the young team around him)waiting to see if a striker had been signed, that would be magic...although too far fetched i'm afraid

There's got to be loads better out there on a free. What a waste of a wage.
I too am puzzled how he became a pro. Worse than Craigen ever was at booting it long and putting pressure right back on us. Get rid.

Firstly sod off regards spelling .. I'm dyslexic and English not my 1st language.
I would disagree him being cack and appears we have a team full of cack players. Unless we have u21 replacement in our squad. Who do you have in mind ?
I'm having to accept Leitch and Carswell in mid-field … Who do you have in mind for central defence ?
I would also like to see a clear out of the dugout and allow Baraclough dictate procedures.
Firstly dont call folk eejits if you can'take it back... we will need to agree to differ on him being cack then. I don't have anybody in mind thats not my job thats what McCall, Black, Johansson and scouts get paid for.

For me we should have had ready made replacements in mind to fill a place left by O'
I'm not at all surprised by the extention of the O'brien loan. Of course it's hardly inspiring, but what can we honestly expect with the resources available.

I agree there are many many better players than O'brien out there but during this window, the majority of free agents carry baggage and seldom make immediate impact. Can we honestly afford to take that sort of risk when every week feels like the alamo?

That of course is the managers choice, and I hope he chooses well over the next couple of weeks as our clubs future and his career depend upon those choices.

Let's not forget where our real problems lie. We've scored less than any other scottish league club this season and our defence consistently are put (and put themselves) under unnecessary pressure because there is insufficient midfield support or attacking flair to prevent the 90 minute alamo mentality and to start carving out chances and goals.

And that boot it or head it long is one of the primary reasons we are constantly up against it and will remain in the relegation dogfight because we surrender possession as soon as we see the ball rather than actually think what we are doing.
We don't have the players to build from the back - witness the first goal Sunday. The only defender we have who is remotely trustworthy with the ball is Hammell, who hardly plays.
