His set pieces were pretty much your only threat.

he should be bought in tommorow at 6am and have 12 hours practice of taking a free kick .how a proffesional footballer taking a dead ball can.t get the ball over the first defender is a disgrace

how can a player as crap as him ever played for real madrid i,ll never know

Well if you think he is crap, then I'd love to know how you rate Bryson, hendrick, Bucko and keogh who were all off the pace in the second half and made crucial mistakes that cost us goals!!

Hendrick and Bryson were the problem for me. I was watching the game in a sports bar trying to work out who the short player in a white shirt continually chasing back 2 yards from the ball was - originally thought it was Mascarell until i realized it was Bryson! Both were out of position in the second half. Forwards all ran out of puff around the 60 minute mark too and stopped pressing them.

For us its a dark day in a world of sunshine and for them its the other way around. A little bit of me was happy for Pearce I have to admit. Although i could have smacked him in the face for jumping around like a twelve year old when they scored. Shows how desperate he is.

In terms of positives ... errm ... Johnny Russell. Looked great for 60 minutes. Raul, Thorne and Warnock all to come - we've plenty to look forward to.

And finally ... Darren Bent ... shave that stupid beard off it makes you look like a tramp!

[quote="Rapid"]somewhat surprisingly I'm going to stick up for omar here.

he was outstanding in the first half. got his hands dirty more in 45 minutes than he has done for the first half of the season so far! won loads of headers and got stuck in.

for the first goal it was never a free kick so it's funny seeing the forest fans complaining about the ref. while I thought we got a lot of decisions that was the one that affected the game most and it was BS!

for the 2nd goal it was omar and Christie that were both caught out of possession but lets be honest, grant should be saving that with his eyes closed. that's including Keogh not closing him down too.

the difference is that forest got into a rhythm and we didn't stop it. I believe Eustace would have broken up their rhythm but still I don't think omar should be the scapegoat for this result.

hendrick was pathetic when he came on. we just stopped playing football as a team. grant had a nightmare 45 minute

Not Mascarell's fault at all. Players of the experince of Bryson and to a lesser extent Hendrick should see when things are not working. They left Omar isolated and few options by charging forward and going wide. This left huge gaps in front of Omar when Forest got the ball.
This has happened before - against Norwich, Leeds and even second half against Brighton. It's time the coaches sorted this out - we should be dominating midfield not being overrun

I can't believe some people cannot see the talent that Mascerall has, and think it was his fault yesterday? He was everywhere, and very physical too, rubbishing some lame claims that he is lightweight.

Still, the lord and saviour Eustace the Great will be back at some point to foul, mouth off at the ref and get sent off because he can't get near players to make a tackle, so all is fine.

Oh yes definitely what with your one deflected shot being the only attempt you had on target all game. I mean we had to score your goal for you! - view external link

It very clearly was a free kick, although the booking was harsh, even though it was given for consistent fouling.
