This is a lack of ambition from Brayford. He is a championship player but has dropped down a division to play for NC again. Surely you should try an play at the highest level possible, I'd be surprised if another champ club didn't want him, could understand it if they were in top two an looking good for automatic promotion

Exactly, thought he ws good enough to play higher than Derby, got his move, was hardly played, then loaned out - now moves to a club that is in league 1 and hardly nailed on for promotion - backward move IMO

Although he is a good player, Rats maybe right, he's not good enough for the top level.

Freeman and Coutts will do well at Sheffield United.
His dad was the same. John McGovern was always following him around.

Totally agree. They all did a reasonable job, but we have better now, both players and management. Good luck to them, but they are gone gone gone.

Leaving the management side aside as that's another topic... What better players do we have now?

    Christie, better than Freeman

Hughes, Bryson, Hendrick, Thorne & Mascarell better than Coutts

Of which Christie and Thorne were SIGNED by Maclaren

The interesting thing here swale is you kept telling us how clough had bad man management skills and most of the players hated him...I haven't forgotten that! But they keep going back to work for him don't they!!!!

Well your memorys a bit awry then! Though thats nothing new as you have shown that in other posts! Susbstitute "some" for "most" and you'd be nearly right!

FACT No 1 Clough had a public falling out with a number of players

FACT No 2 he publicly criticised a number of players

FACT No 3 None of those players have gone back to him!!!

Wow I'm impressed, you correctly predicted that Brayford wasn't
