Open question had mcclaren brought in a player that's better than courts as a replacement?

This question is based on a flawed premise that comes from the fact you haven't watched us much since 2013/ 14 and that you don't accept we haved improved under MacClaren.



Coutts was very effective in the 2012/13 season though my memory is his effectiveness became less and he often went missing went things got physical ( thats a personal view I accept ).

But at the time he played we were mid table , could have reached 10th for a couple of weeks.
Coutts doesn't match what Bryon and Hendrick gave us last season. He had a chance with a start against Southport and was not that impressive.

Why should we need to get a better replacement before we transfer him ?

The club have seen him though a long injury lay-off but for which he could have left earlier.

Thorne is one such replacement who was brought in by McClaren even if Nigels's brother's, son's uncle scouted him at one time in the past!!

The question is flawed, we dont need a replacement for Coutts, he never started a league game for Derby in the last 18 months.

And apart from Blackpool there were no Championship clubs interested in signing him, so all in all a rather pointless post !
