As well intend your naively proposed 'client consultation' may be, it is neither professional nor purposeful.

I think what you're talking about is 'market research' and it's blatantly obvious what motherwell fans want. It disnae need an angry bloke in a scarf to tell the club that present performance is not to an acceptable standard.

Sorry Well_ doon_south it may not be purposeful or professional but in the real world if you cant keep you customers informed or involved you end up losing them. This happens in any walk of life not just football.

So which is it you want?

Everything I've read from you over past few weeks has been about communication going in the direction of the club i.e. the 'client consultation' or doing the team talk.

Are you now proposing something different? Because, that would be a change of tune.

I don't think anyone would disagree that the standard of PR from the club is p1ss poor. It always has been the case for years going right back to the Chapman days.

Given the modern era and the technology at hand at little cost, the club could improve its communications quickly. As an exile, I would love to see it improve.

Don't forget though, that there will always be things that a 'company' will not tell it's customers under the guise 'commercial in confidence' (most likely what we want to know).

But of course, being an occupant of the 'real world' you would know all that!

Why don't you write to the club, make your suggestions, give them your number and wait for the phone to ring.

errr nae offence mate but since august 2013 when have the defence ever been fairly tight ... they have been utterly shocking for a season and a half now.[/quote]Our defence was pants last seaso

Sorry well_doon_sooth but have tried all your suggestions and more and still waiting on replies or phone calls months after the initial communications were made.In the real world sometimes you have to deal with the problem face to face, but please forgive me for trying to save my club money, something you will surely know we have to do.So sorry we will have to agree to disagree at this stage. As in my opinion to be a professional club on a park you most first of all be professional off it.

lads, some guys know more about business, some know more about football. I wouldn't expect the fans to come on an produce a SWOT analysis of MFC or a run down of the latest coaching attributes. I do think everyone is genuinely passonate about the club, Tex has some good points, as does WDS, its all about opinions, but everyone should remember we are all on the same side here.
For the record I know feck all about business or fittba
