Ince not coming...unless Hull sign someone, so it looks like we are up the creek without a paddle on this one.

My money is on Hull signing someone.

    Desperation time for them.

Do you think 31 goals in 100 games for Blackpool was a fluke?

For me, an underwhelming signing would be someone like Ibe again. It would take them 10-15 games to get going. We don't have that time.
Dave - take out his penos and I guess his ratio is 1:5. Ibe is very similar on his time here, and was improving. I just think Ibe gave us pace and power, something that benefits those around him as he frightens defenders. I respect your opinion, but if I had teh choice of Ibe or Ince, I would take Ibe without hesitation, and I know you would go opposite!

Ince has carried so much hype. Just ask though - Hull, Palace, Inter, Forest...4 clubs since Blackpool and done nothing at any of them. Why is that?[/quote]

He never went to Inter. He went on loan to Palace this time last year. Started 5 games and scored 1. Not bad for a Premie

Just stating a fact, as I understand to be correct and my opinion of course (if it does not happen)

Unless, we have a back up in place for someone of equal quality, we are up the creek...

Loan window opens for a bit though doesn't it? Gives us another few weeks.

Have faith in our management. If not Ince it will be a player of equal talent. The window is still open for a few hours.

I think saying we're up the creek is a bit of an over reaction.

Hmmm, maybe a tad. However, if we fail to land a decent replacement for Ibe and Russell (until he returns) and it somehow has a negative impact on our performances, this could have a significant effect on whether we go up direct or back to the dreaded playoffs again!
