    I know it'd be a pain and there's a hell of a lot of tradition and local rivalry, but IF Dundee and Dundee United were to amalgamate, say into Dundee City FC they'd very likely be a force to be reckoned with. Can't see it happening anytime soon but it might be great for Scottish fitba in general.

    Inverness Cally Thistle have done quite well and seem to be greater than the sum of its parts albeit the crowds are poor.

    are the por ICT crowds tpo do with the fact that caley and thistle hated each other... an amalgamated Dundee team wouldnt have that problem woudl they ...the Derry Shed... :-)
