    Great result

Can Forster actually catch a ball
He looked very hesitant in the last min, as normal instead of catching he wanted to punch it away...I know there was some pressure from the QPR player but it looked like he dropped the ball ?

Fundamental part of goalkeeping and possibly the easiest part, but appears to be a problem for him.

Granted he's saved us a few times this season, but he needs to improve in this area.

Imagine if he played outfield in cricket

Imagine facing him as a fast bowler, particularly if you had annoyed him.

According to Sky Sports this afternoon Forster made an unbelievable save in the second half. Looking forward to seeing it on MOD.

It was a cracker - I thought the ball was going in, but Forster somehow got something on it.

Nearly undone by his fumble at the death.

All in all a very frustrating afternoon (early morning for me). Heeps of posession but again toothless in the last third. The best chance coming from out centre back from a corner. Pelle again didnt seem very involved, I think the Prem fullbacks have him worked out. Forster again seemed shakey when he was asked to do anything which wasnt too often but he did make up for everything with a great reaction save in the second half. He was going left and had the shot covered but it took a deflection off a QPR player, still going left he managed put the ball over the bar with him right arm whilst standing on the goal line. Great stuff and kept us in the game at that time. Good to see Tadic sidelined, he seemed to try harder when he was allowed on, maybe try the same with Pelle?? A great result at the end of the day but we will need to do a lot better in the next week against the Spammers and Scouses if we are going to get anything out of these games!!!

Great result, very pleased to get back to winning ways
4th away win in a row, we've never done that in the prem before and i doubt we've won 7 away in the top flight either.
Very impressed with Yoshida, slotted in well at left back and did brilliantly for the winner, good to see him steaming forward and demanding the ball from Tadic, then playing a perfectly weighted ball to Sadio to do the rest.
Whilst Frazer's save from Austin was brilliant he should have done better with the disallowed goal. He's 6ft 7 ffs and shouldn't be dithering, i've seen those sort of goals given before so maybe we got a bit lucky.
Still the papers this morning say we won so who cares

Saw what little they showed on MOTD. Great save Forster and really nice finish for the goal but they didn't leave enough time to get any sense of the game. The comments after suggest the injury wasn't as bad as feared. Hope that is the case.

... and my expectation for this year was we would finish safe somewhere in the bottom half. Third is outstanding and, in context, probably the best over achievement of any club given our starting point after the summer.

Hi Charlie and thanks for the "Mate" introduction, shows you arn't hostile!

Firstly, it was fantastic to see us stay third as Manure slip up against Spammers!

Your question, what am I expecting? I am 51 and supported Saints since I can't remember, much the same as you I guess? I have been there for 1976 and 2010 and I want to bask in that glory again before I drop off the pearch! This season provides the oppertunity for European qualification which will be a great achivement. I expect European qualification.

I am the same as you, this season is our best oppertunity to stand up and be counted as a force in the Premier League. We do everything right from junior development to the first team, but I am watching these games and noticing two or three professionals who may not be quite on the pace. Pelle hasn't scored for eight league games, that is primarily what he get paid for. Tadic has been well short of his early season game. When he used to make space down the flank and prov
