He could (and maybe should) have stamped his foot and demanded a transfer when they were relegated from The Prem, but, as we know, he is not that kind of guy. It hurts me to say it, but I think Kevin would have achieved more as a footballer if he had not come to us.
Agreed PKB. We hardly ever played him as a proper striker anyway - I am surprised he didn't bogoff years ago. Wolves may have paid him relatively well, but used him very badly! :/[/quote]

We played him regularly up front with SEB and Sylvan was the only goalscorer .

I was surprised that Kenny dismissed him from his thinking without really seeing if he could blend in. Maybe he was told to forget him but he couldn't have dome much worse than our strikers have done of late.Good luck to him in the US

Doyle has done well financially from Wolves, bar his first eigh**** months hardly a lot to shout about really is it footballing wise?

I still believe to this day if he hadn't got injured Wolves would have gone down in our second premier league season under McCarthy. and that's what allowed Wolves and Fletcher to prosper and stay up.

This sums it up for me, and as Eve said above he hasn't scored enough goals. I've always been a fan and wish him well when hew moves on, but he should have done more with his career particularly in the last couple of seasons
