We have to look ahead. Whether or not we deserve it, we still have a route to redemption. Our new guys have three exceptionally big games coming up. For the ump****th time - this season alone! - we need to get behind the club and urge them on. If IB can get us organised into a team, we have, even beyond those three home games, chances of points. Only Aberdeen are stronger than they were; most clubs have lost good players. It can be done.
Good god! Some positivity...G'on yersel big man!

Could there be some tiny shoots of recovery? I truly hope so. The next few weeks will determine that. But unfortunately, I suspect the main spirit of this thread may be lost

Good posts which add some much needed perspective.

Even in my (comparatively short) time supporting the team we've been in much worse situations - eight or so points behind (with 2 points for a win!) at Xmas 92, the run of six or seven games in 1995/6 without a goal, being three points adrift of safety in 1997 before Owen Coyle day at Ibrox.

In contrast now if we draw our home game in hand, we're out of the bottom two.

So there's no need to throw the towel in completely by any means. But it's equally reasonable to say that if we keep playing (and in particular, defending) as we've done for the previous 25 games, it's only a matter of time before the towel is needed!
