    I used to of an catapult, given to me by my dad, it were used to shoot close to his pigeons when they landed on local houses instead off of flying round.

    My brother had an air rifle for similar reasons (mainly 'cos he were geet cack with the catapult), he shot an crow, and it fell down next door's chimney, how we arfed.

    I'd search out some of them cockateils Moorlando. They* are less likely to flap around, and are easier targets.

    There used to be loads of seagulls up here during the 60s -90s they are far less nowadays by quite some margin
