No, not at all, JR. I often said he was a bull-shi*ter, and I would stand by that now, but he is quite likeable.
Warnock, in particular, is in a different category altogether. He always comes across as a mean-spirited, snide slime-ball. I would hate to see him at Ewood in any capacity, even if he proved more successful than GB.

Imo it is no good looking back and compairing what makes a good manager, like most clubs they come and go, we have had some of the best in Dalgleish-Souness-Hughes and Sam but some tops like Hodgson-Harford-Kidd and Berg couldnt cut the cloth.

We are very lucky to have Bowyer that has picked up the pieces of a complete shambles and turned us into something other than a laughing stock, 'patience is a virtue' and I think what he has achieved so far warrants a bit more from the players and fans, other than putting his head on the block. !!

we are losing 40m a season with this novice at the rudder. i think some would still call that a laughing stock..

no room for sentiment about the nice guys in football, jack walker knew it with hodgson and kidd, and venkys need somebody to bring them to their senses and realise that right now..

Venkys got rid of three managers in not many more months . I dont think they are afraid of sacking managers .

    Warnock's career:
Managed 13 different clubs - one of them twice.
    Sacked 5 times.
    Jumped ship twice.

    Bring him on.

Got to agree aucks we do not need a dictator like Warnock or Davies for that matter
We need a happy medium between a bowyer(chummy chummy) and a nasty manager like warnock.
For me I have said it for ages McDermott would be great for us otherwise champs made a great shout in the current brentford manager Mark Warburton he is going at the end of the season regardless of what happens
What a good job he has done defiantly worth a punt.

Quite agree, and no one is really saying that finding a good manager is a piece of cake. I reckon there is a hell of a lot of luck involved hence why some do well one place but not another.
GB for me is far too pally with his squad and always has been, but it is fine being reasonably close as long as the charges fully understand your 'position' and you are prepared to deal with the iron rod when necessary leaving no one in any doubt you are the gaffer. If you are simply the dictator type you are best
