If we do get promoted fans will need to support better and be far more patient. Some of the games I have watched in the Premeir league this season, teams go 1 up and then shut up shop.
Can you imagine if Tony Pulis was at the helm how our fans would react.

After 2 sublime team goals we stopped. Sure Charlton didn't want to win but when that became obvious we should have gone for it a bit more, we had a cushion of 2 goals.
In the tightest league for years it may come down to goal difference and we should have cleaned up last night.
Yet again we proved we cannot handle teams that play deep.
If it was deliberate then Steve is Nigel in disguise.
I though Charlton gave it a go from 35 mins on, high tempo, lots of closing down, and only stopped looking a threat once we'd passed 'em to death for 15 mins or so around the 70-75 min mark.

Had we 'gone for it a bit more' and they'd hit us on the break, say with 15-20 to play it would have made us very nervous and in with a real chance of dropping 2 points. Patient pr

That's ridiculous. If we do get promoted Dawkins will have played his part.

Aye, the blokes playing with personal problems - travelling to London in his spare time to be with his family.

But still saved us from losing at Bournemouth and Rotherham.

More than doing his bit imo.

    **** 'em. In the bum.

That's the second time someone has mentioned issues for Dawkins??

I'm not his biggest fan, but I'd never boo him, or any other Derby player (unless they were taking the **** out of the club- which non have in my time).

He will have contributed this season, even if I feel other players deserve the wing spot over him.

He's a good player. Certainly good enough for the match day squad.

Great post Toggles. I have 3 absolute ****heads behind me. I'm going to have to move seats next season. Problem is I have an awesome view. I don't want to move. Also finding 4 seats together is not easy.

We have played all season with this possession based approach and it's been very successful so far, but unfortunately English crowds want it to be lumped up in front of Bent as soon as possible. It's a cultural thing.

How many times have we actually conceded through losing the ball playing out? Not many. And we're above 23 other teams at the minute so it must be ok.
