    Its a mean cop-out to give all the outfield players the same rating. Thorne and Hendrick were excellent and better than some others. Thorne's pass for the goal was as good as it can get.

    Thorne's play showed what we have been missing. Omar's play as CDM has been good at times but too inconsistent.

    Also, were you asleep for Grant's save for the free-kick in the first half? Why rate him 4 just cos he didn't have a lot to do.? He made a good save

    Thorne's ball in to Hendrick for the second was fantastic, but also the control by Hendrick on the half turn, and then the lay off to Lingard - sublime.

    As I've said on many occasions: Hendrick – a Rolls-Royce of a midfielder.
