Ella mate, I see what you're saying but I think you may have misconstrued the purpose of the thread, I agree with Dave about the moans from some fans (not necessarily on here) who probably have forgotten or not stopped to consider the age of this very exciting squad who sometimes don't hit 5 goals past a defensive team.

Not doubting your statistical clout though Ella but I don't think Dave was trying to be arrogant about it.

Ellla you yourself supposedly deal in statistics,other people though are allowed to mention them.

I personally,repeat personally think statistics can be manipulated to read however you wish them to,in a positive or negative.

I remember our Disraeli arguement about his statement of "lies,damn lies & statistics,he was a former prime minister and not a statistics fan and yet you brushed him aside with the comment "That old chestnut"...well I for one am confident Disraeli was a far more intelligent person than you or I.

But yes, they had some good success with youngsters but I think we are just littered with them.

Anyone seen much of Thomas play? I know he's been on the bench recently but don't know much about him. How was his loan spell at Notts County? I know he didn't score.

Is he just making up the numbers because of Bennett and Martin? Does he have a future do you think?

If not, who is the next youngster most likely to break into the team? Or will there not be any now?

I think if we make it to the Prem some of our youngsters will be put out as bait for bigger fish. Or we will loan them to Forest or another Championship team.
