So Omar goes sold a dummy and they get a cross in.. What happens then?
Collectively we concede goals, if we want to go down the individual responsibility road, Keogh and Buxton would probably be top of that list...
Now hang on a second, yes Will had a bad game along with everyone else.
The reason why he doesn't immediately get the same level of criticism as Omar is he has been consistently impressive this season, whereas Omar has had good games but quite a few noticeably poor ones.
The problem not being his ability, simply that he is not right for that position, in the same way Will Highes isn't. But he is played in that role so that is where he us judged. Omar didn't have just one bad game yesterday, it was another bad game in that position. If Will Hughes was played in that position regularly then we would be slating him if his performances were not up to what was needed.
We have a problem without Thorne or Eustace in there, it's not Omars fault that it isn't really his ideal position and that some games will inevitably be beyond him. But it is still a problem. He'll have the odd

agreed we concede goals collectively but the vast majority of goals we concede (particularly way from home) omar has a hand in.
Eustace is slow, can't really pass more than 10 yards and isn't what you'd call a 'gifted footballer' but he dunt half protect the back 4 a damn site better than omar.

You do contradict yourself.. On another thread you are defending Will for the second goal but by the same pretext you blame Omar..

um no. if you read what I posted it says 'comedy of errors'. it says omar didn't give will a great pass. will lost it. omar waves his hands in the air and is out of position. defenders didn't close down.
my point was that it wasn't all wills fa

my point was that it wasn't all wills fault, it was a 'collective' effort by definition.
On that point we agree.. But that is the case for 90% of goals conceded.

Eustace is likely to play at Brighton tomorrow, no real training in 6 weeks, thrown straight back in, now that is a risk, but tells us what the management think of Omar
Have you got that on good authority, Stig?

Get used to it angry. When that fails he will just make something up and keep repeating it until he believes it's fact.
On Saturdayamy went expecting another cup game and whooping them. Things have changed. Got more serious and Fulham are figh
