re: Is our season about to fall apart?

We have known all season that it's going to be tough.

We haven't been good enough to take advantage of opportunities to consolidate top position and pull a few points ahead.

However, I believe in the squad and I think we always respond when we need to. I would get Bryson back in. He has more about him character-wise than others in the squad who can go missing when the heat is on.

As regards centre-forward we do have options. And lots of others to score goals.

For me right now the biggest issue is CDM. Could Albentosa do a job there?

We have to keep our heads. I see Norwich as being the team who are most likely now to overtake us; they are a very good side as we saw at the iPro. We will get through this. The team will be massively up for Brighton tomorrow. Sometimes you need a sword hanging over your head to bring out your fight.

I've been saying for a long time we are not as good as some would have it's beleive. This point here now show just how McClaren has failed to fill any gaps with quality signings. Two expensive loans aside which are almost bankers signing have been poor at best.

The question is does the existing squad have it in them to make a final push?

Answer to the subject question, I wouldn't have thought so. Think you will be ok, even without another loan signing.

The run-in is always a nervy time, this question is just the start of the twists and turns between now and May.

Just hope the players are coping with it better than you lot, for your sake.

That's a little harsh. We had Martin but needed to be able to switch things round to create a plan B in attack and also to cover in case Martin picked up an injury. To have both players out with injury at the same time is just unfortunate and you can't really legislate for it.

THORNE being injured isn't the end of the world because we have Eustace and Mascarell - oh... Hang on! Eustace us injured to so it all falls onto Omar who is probably the least effective in that position as far as defensive qualities go.

That's just unfortunate again. In contrast, we have had Ward, Russell and Dawkins out

You're right Tricky - if the players are as depressed as we are then we really are screwed!

Then next couple of weeks are going to be pretty tough I think. But hopefully we might get the key players back in time for a final flurry in the last half a dozen matches.

If the wheels haven't come off yet we certainly need new tyres very soon.

Let's just hope we make the play offs?

It would be gross incompetence for us to finish outside the top 6. However we do need to be prepared to have to gain promotion via the play offs. We would need to use last years experience to our advantage.
