The result was far more important than the performance. It stops the rot and helps restore confidence and self belief. Whether or not it proves decisive or defining remains to be seen. As said before, it's still too early for bold predictions imo when there's still ten games left and all to play for.

Always going to happen that Holmes would score the winner against us. The bloke spent more time in Pompey changing his hairstyles than playing football. It amazes me how League 2 players can still act like Beckham.

No way Scum will finish above Liverpool. Close between them and Spurs, but seeing as they have nothing else to play for now I'd fancy them to be stronger in the League than I'd previously thought.
