    i dont understand why king is in a position to take over sevco now. has he become the majority shareholder or can you own a club without putting money in. anyone know if king has put money in or not.

    The Glazers took over Manchester United without putting any money in.

    Oooh, The Rangers fans better hope that King isn't going to try do a Glazers on it - though that would be very difficult in current circumstances.

    From what I understand the already indebted Glazers borrowed ***dreds of millions more to buy ManU and when they did they saddled (cash cow) ManU with that debt and their other debts. Bit by bit they're paying off the overall debt(s) but ManU, despite generating millions each year, can't now afford as lavish transfer fees as before because they must service the huge debt.

    That would be terminal for an already ailing The Rangers imho

    This the same Man Utd who spent £150m on players in the summer there?
