Thank you for your response VdeP.
Supercrewe is totally out of order, wrong and making uncalled for personal comments about my belief in the team and the Alex.
'Chipping away all the time until he does make a mistake and then stating 'I told you so' is the only place that this is heading.'

This is a ludicrous and insulting statement and belittles your belief in free speech - if it exists at all ... or you believe in YOUR free speech.
In no way are my questions heading towards such a facile, juvenile comment. They are questions, to which I hoped for a considered reply.

I was a big fan of Steve Phillips when Ben was his understudy; I was wary of Ben's abilities in his first few games; I was quickly won over by his talent. Rabuchka has yet to prove himself, particularly in terms of my perception of his positioning and handling, while his kicking and athleticism are exceptional ... but as I've stated before I want to be proved wrong as he improves.

Try and avoid the personal and unsubst

I think you are being over-sensitive AL. There is plenty more robust stuff on here than what supercrewe wrote.

Aye. I just like Posts to be about football, not personal comments. We move on ...

AL this is a forum on football, if you put a comment up there , then you are opening a debate , all I asked was why you seem to be looking for PR to slip up ?

People challenege lots of my opinions and I dont go cowering in the corner, I stand my ground and absorb their view.

Surely that is what a debating forum is all about?

I personally believe Rachubka is a liability and not up to standard for league one football. Don't think he inspires confidence at all. Surely there is better out there in the loanee market?

There are all these agonising dilemmas as the season goes down to the wire.

Rachubka seemed an interesting 'steal' and a cheap punt, as he only lives in Holmes Chapel. His signing freed up a loan slot for Uche (who, TBH, didn't look that clever on Sat., though I'd personally have taken a chance and allowed him to get his reflexes honed on the pitch from the start).

On the other hand, the poor lad Etheridge, who went back all disappointed just before his big break would have come, in the Barnsley game, could still have been here and playing well, but then no Uche. We'll never know.

    Who'd be a football manager?

And on that subject, Steve was maybe a bit gung-ho in 'having a dart' by taking Tatey off. On the other hand you could say that since our GD will never save us, why not go for broke?

    And that's just it.
On decisions like that, managers live or die.
The way it sounded on the net, we were just getting up a head of steam after being blown away for the first 30.
Had it worked, he'd have been hailed a genius!
    Just a shame it didn't!

I'm just surprised not more is being made of Haber's "goal"!! A shocking decision, whichever way you look at it. Who knows how much the momentum would have swung after that? - and we've a decent record against PNE in recent times, and they would have known it!

As for Rachubka, I'm with AL and AlsagerC, not for me. Of course we will back him while he's our no.1. Doesn't mean to say we have to rate him!

And that ****er, Garner! As good as he obviously is at this level, why does he have to resort to this new Diego Costa-type craze of punching the floor when denied a pen, as if to say to

I don't honestly think the keeper has done much wrong since he has been in the team. Give the guy a chance

Slightly puzzled at SD's post match comments that we did OK for 70 minutes and didn't capitulate in the last 20. Er...we conceded 3 goals in 10 minutes and fell apart! Too much of a coincidence that it followed him tinkering with the team and formation by removing Tate and his calming influence from the defence. The last 2 goals were embarrassing to watch, and no, Rachubka inspires no confidence in me either!
