Come to think of it, I am not sure where Thorne plays either. Left back, on the treatment table I think.

Martin: Ramspride said he scored before he was sent off didn't he? I believe he got injured walking down the tunnel

Well I think I saw him on Friday night at the Ipro on the pitch, but could have been dreaming!

Promotion is looking iffy I reckon
Even though I think your a miserable so and so, regarding Martin I fear your correct. Thorne situation also worrying.[/quote]

Those posts were made weeks ago ffs. It is very easy to be so c0cky in hindsight though.

Indeed but its also easy to get very negative when things go wrong and there was no suggestion that Martin wouldn't be back, not even one of those "no smoke without fire rumours"!!!

The problem was poor communication from the club.

He was supposed to be available for the Norwich game as I recall, but when he was not even in the squad and nothing was reported from the club as to his absence. This alone generates rumours and doubts. If they had given updates on his condition, none of the theories would have evolved would they?

****y in hindsight might be preferable from posting lots of negative comments when you don't know the true picture.

There are good reasons why a club might not be too open about the injury and fitness of a key player. Think about it for a moment.

Simmo was very open at one stage when he told us about bleeding in the hamstring in the week when Martin might have been expected to be back - do you get your info from all the sources?

    Theories evolve from your mindset.

But I can see why the club would not want to let the opposition know who might or might not be playing and its not always easy to predict when a player may or may not be fit to play, Thorne being a case in point.

The fact is if we had not had this bad run, nobody would be saying anything, no making up stories, no rumours, but as son as things go tits up, the conspiracy theorists come out

Whats really telling is posters who have hardly posted on here suddenly pop up and post negative crap - sure debate whether Mac got it right or wrong or if a player has been poor etc, but hawking

This is the most telling, accurate, bit. It seems the poster(s) have an agenda. I wonder whether it's more about promoting FootyMad rather than supporting Derby County?!

I certainly hope the players have been told not to read the crap on here. It certainly won't help the Derby County cause if they do.

Players, generally, like most, have fragile egos. They need our support, rather than ridiculous unfounded muck raking.
