Same to you petewaller, Norwich is gonna be tough for you but they have to come unstuck at some point!fancy you to get at least another 3-4pts.
[quote="SouthLondonLion1985"]As a millwall fan I hope we secure enough points to survive regardless of whether you are deducted points, I do believe they should be deducted as the player concerned contributed massively, a mom performance from a defender in a 1-0 win, he definitely contributed and the precedents set previously show that if you won the game the points should be removed. However I do hope you stay up as Fulham are awful, worst team I've seen play at den this season . Massive respect to those fans who have put across the scenario of the boot being on the other foot as you would be screaming from the rooftops that millwall should have points removed. I think it will come down to the wire regardless of the technicality whichever way it goes,we will beat one of Blackburn and Cardiff and I fancy us to do derby again. Best of luck millers hope we both survive and see either the oh so quiets(reading), the massively overated(Fulham) or the pain in the

We made a mistake maybe, so we will be punished if guilty but I can't see it being a deliberate act so how can anyone say we deserve it?![]()
I might be wrong, but didn't Smallwood get MOM v Brighton?
I understand the point, but ultimately you won with an ineligible player which is a breach of the rules, pretty clear cut in my eyes, like I say I want us to survive on merit not a technicality however by not deducting points surely afc Wimbledon as well as other clubs with a much bigger profile could then sue - the trouble with all these things is the ambiguity - it's never a clear cut case! I personally think the fa would love to see us go down and would not be surprised if it was just a fine however with the millions of pounds at stake I'm sure there would be some pretty hefty lawsuits filed by millwall, Wigan, Fulham etc as the precedent ( with afc Wimbledon ) has already been set. Who knows, what will be will be, good luck either way just hope the players from both clubs show their worth and we both stay up!
Caf84 I may well be wrong on the mom part, I'd seen it on another thread but either way you didn't let in a goal, he's a defender - he played a pivotal part
Even 5mins on pitch is a breach of the rule regardless
True. Not a dig mate, just made we wonder if I had heard it right. I'm sure we will be punished accordingly
Being a life-long Miller I'd take anything that preserved our Championship status but if we've broken the rules - and nobody is saying it was a deliberate act - we deserve to be punished accordingly.
Obviously, it would be difficult to take, especially if one person's oversight costs us millions of pounds, to say nothing of the impact on players, staff, supporters, sponsors etc but it would be the right and proper outcome. And it's not as if we're unfamiliar with adversity. If the worst happened, as Millers, we'd do what we've always done, accept the situation, put it behind and us and move forward once again.
Whatever the outcome, most, if not all of us, will be taking our seats next season against the Wanderers - be it Wolverhampton or Wycombe.
I know mate didn't mean to come across as a tool, nice to have a decent debate with a decent set of fans from what I can see, I hate that it's coming down to this as believe both millwall and rotherham are better than league positions suggest ( ours mainly down to agent lomas and coco the clown) , from what I gather you've overspent on some players who've underperformef but on the whole a good side, difficult to beat that's for sure!gd luck either way caf84!
