Empire? I thought it was just part of the UK? And, despite the wailings of the little britains, that has a reciprocal arrangement whereby the Scottish Nationalists could well hold the ballance of power in Westminster. Now THAT would be ironic

    I dont read the papers.

But at a guess, I would say this in explanation to their comments (and what I belive is the same explanation to Milliband saying no to a coalition with the SNP):

They know that Scotland is lost to the SNP. So by saying what they're syaing, they are trying to curry favour with English, Welsh and NI voters, in a bid to strengthening their 'holdings' south of the border. Exactly why Mil

Any chance of the Sevconians getting it into their head that this upcoming election has nothing to with the referendum.

If they still have to prove their "Britishness" by agreeing with the anti-Scots stuff in the Tory papers, then they really are true Uncle Toms to the Eton establishment.

    Neither 'side' are appealing tbh.

Interesting that the London press has no problem with being ruled/over-run with foreigners unless it's 'Scots' and they are also allowed to get away with printing all that. And parliament being dominated by Scottish Liebour MPs is nothing new.

    Doesn't add up.
