    Pretty fair post.

Problem is with many of the squad on new long contracts and the nine performers being recent signings who can you see that can be moved in easily?

    Dig a hole ...

Try November 2010 onwards . After a great start Clough changed the team and from 4th we were 17th in less than 3 months.
But take even a shorter period than this the fall beats what we have just seen this season.
Its the expectations that makes our recent fall seem so bad.
At least Cloughie gave us supporters some practice! Of course its not even like for like since there was no injury crisis back then.

It's Cloughs and capitals for Clough and McClaren Honestly you critice others for bad spelling but you are the worst!

This is it, isn't it Rats?

It seems to be clear that there are a few who don't have the fight for the big occasion and find it difficult to adapt to the level of expectation now on their shoulders. How many times did we squander being top?

For a while now you can clearly see that sonething's not right. We can only rely on gossiip , is it that Macca has lost the dressingroom? And if so, is that because of the expensive loan signings? The Newcastle speculation? Team selection etc. We can only speculate. But it may well be that the very togetherness that brought us this far is now working against the club.

It's quite possible that it is time to move on the Buxtons, the Wards, and the Keoghs if that means that we can get that mental toughness to get us to the next level.

Since many are on extended contracts now, if we do want a clear out then the likelihood is that we're going to have to cut our losses. Everything begins with McClaren 's future being resolved either way. Maybe man
