My mate is a St holder at Wednesday and told me a story about their new owner.
Apparently the Wednesday pitch has always has a slope of about 2ft from end to end. The new guy wants a flat pitch and when told there is a six month waiting list he said "really.. I don't think so" and opened his wallet! The diggers moved in last Monday!
They could be a challenger next season perhaps

    re: Realistic player suggestion topic

I like this post its bringing out the positive thinking again even if it is wish list stuff!

Some good shouts on here throughout the team. Westwood and Butland are good shouts and would love to see Wisdom back at Derby. If you don't conceed you can't lose so defence has to be priority.

I think we could get Ince and I'd like to see him in a free role, he goes past men with ease and is a 15-20 goal player albeit a luxury one.

The boy Clough at Bolton is a talent for sure but as well as youth we need an old head in all three thirds of the pitch even if they only squad players.

My addition and based on if his team is relegated would be Robbie Brady at Hull, he's a bit of a Barmby type player, clever and his link play is fantastic.

We need a player who adds that dimension to unlock the two rows of four that we never seem able to break down.

I get the feeling the feeling this post will carry on for a week or two!

Brady is a good shout! Quality player.

Also think maguire would be a good signing, simply hasn't been given a chance at Hull.

Andy king from Leicester? Could still do a job.
Juctiwicz how ever spelt would be a good backup option!

Realistic is a good title because I do not think we will be spending big Also afraid Mac will stick with his signings But obviously the defence needs changing but as someone has already pointed out his permanent signings leave you with a bit of trepidation Well a new keeper is a must Grant has saved us but hes also cost us I think he is going backwards at the moment so iwould go for Stockdale from Brighton right sided centre back Morgan (free ) from Rotherham and a must a left sided centre back Albentosa terrible signing and Bucko always a tackle away from injury I would go for Lewis Dunk from Brighton great left foot and good in the air I could go through midfield and strikers but defence is prority

Doubt he will be playing league 1 or premier league next year, could be worth a gamble.
Mclean? Not for me. Personal opinion but I find his stance on 'Poppies' distasteful and massively disrespectful. Comparable to signing Ched Evans, just as I say, in my opinion.
