Yes things went our way today. The door to safety has edged an centimetre wider. We now have to do the business next Saturday.

Great runs always come to an end at some point and to nick Craig Brown's favourite phrase, there's little harder to deal with psychologically than losing a lead...Ross County could have buried us last week but didn't, they could have made themselves safe today but didn't...It doesn't matter how good you have been, there's still nerves at getting over the line. Killie are currently dreadful, on a club record losing run and not only is their confidence non-existent, they showed even less appetite for the fight Friday then we usually do.

If we can get an early goal next week Killie and Ross County will be under a huge amount of pressure.

My grip on the straws I've been clutching at just became a wee bit firmer! We have to keep winning; that's a given. But if we do, and Jillie and County even just draw their last two then we'd be in. Or have I miscounted?

No you are correct if they draw their remaining games and we win our two we stay out of play offs. The hardest piece of the jigsaw is relying on us winning two , esp if a big crowd turn out, we are truly abysmal when expectation rises and the crowds turn out.

Here's the thing ... I reckon we'll have a convoy larger than Big Bear and Rubber Duck's going to Midden's place.
So, what's the odds on our guys doing the business in front of 2,000+ 'Well boys?
Hope to be wrong, but it's 50-50 the team shows up IMO.

Its terrible to say but my heart sinks every time I see us with an inordinately large crown turning up.My mate and I always turn to each other before a ball is kicked and say " well we know the outcome today" and we've been saying it for 30 years so its not paranoia or something without foundation.

Lol, good shout. I've went from never going back, finished, scunered to now running bloody bus wtf. In my defence my fellow dafties also said they won't be back, more coupons than the town hall clock some well fans!
I agree totally with your sentiments though, last 'must win' aways have been shocking, real let down, Accies was particularly sore. We live and hope I supose.
Have a good week lads, this roller coaster ain't finished yet :-) MTID

A lot of us are the same. I've given up attending games about four times this season. Starting way back after the Stjarnan farce, but I always seem to be dragged back. The last time I'd given up was the Accies game. We just talk a load of s**** at times.

Got the distinct impression after the County game at FP that tbeir players and fans thought they had done enough to complete the great escape. Lets hope after this weekend games that it results in their bottle crashing as they try to get their flip-flops back off and their boots back on. :-D
