You were telling people to watch what they type, but then posted incorrect information.

Chairman or not, is not the real point is it! The fact that he reads these forums and has already had a solicitor write to the chief moderator of another forum regarding some alleged defamatory remarks against him means that everyone should be wary what they write.

You knew exactly what I was getting at!

If the post was the one I think it was it wasn't just derogatory, it alleged deliberate fraud. Not only that, it outlined a plan of such stupidity that Baldrick would have blushed. I honestly don't think that particular solicitor's email was either unjustified or an indication that Mel Morris has a thin skin.

Interesting ... On the face of it raises a few questions!

    1. Has there been or is there a buy out going on?

    2. Has patience/belief been lost in Rush and decision taken over his head?
No Rat, he's not as intelligent as he obviously thinks he is. Hence the mess he has created with his poor attempt at being clever with words.

I never read the post so I cannot comment on it's content. You are probably right and if true, then I would not blame him for taking such action. It is still wise to be cautious though.

I think you can easily get too excited over this 'be careful what you write'. Don't put outright opinion as fact, don't accuse people of outright lies or criminal acts if you can't substantiate it.

    Debate and opinion is fine.

Exactly it's when you post things as fact. Opinion, debate and questions are fine we still have free speech ... Just about!

However banter and retort looks to be on its last legs if some have their own way!!!

Point remains tho Mel Morris seems to be taking the decisions now if this is the be believed.

Now in any other business this would be viewed a a failure on the predessors part or lack of confidence and a new stucture to supersede them. Not saying this is happening but on what I've seen else where it would suggest something like this to me?
Or Steve is just blaming the guy who turned up and sacked him to his face. A new guy at that - so Steve might have thought he was the driving force behind it.

In all honesty, do you think Rush and Brett Wilson didn't agree - like
