    From a strictly development of skills yes another season at Fir Park would have benefitted him. However the lucrative 3 year deal at Leefs is too much to dismiss and I wish him well.
    His strength football skills and savy will missed. It could be a nervy season ahead with vitually a total rebuild in the offing.

    Good luck to the lad. I hope he does well.

    I would have loved him to have signed a two year contract to stay and played a blinding season at which point we could have sold him and got some proper money for him. But it wasn't to be.

    How much will we get for this training club thing?

    My summary;
    1. 'Battered them over 2 legs - Ah loved it. We were the classy team'. TV gold
    2. McCall's inability to turn the boy around! Pretty well known Lee was a disinterested, unfit young squad member under him. IB and his asst's have clearly made him into what he is now. Does that tell us something about SMcN and indeed IB?
    3. Will he get a regular first time slot? I doubt it intially - that said, he's on £300K basic for 3 seasons. Who wouldn't move now as you never know what's round the corner?
    4. On a personal note, I hope part of the agreement is we get LUFC at FP for a pre-season game. Leeds are my English team due to great Scots in times gone by (Dave Harvey, Frank n Eddie Gray, Billy Bremner, Gordon McQueen, Peter Lorimer, Joe Jordan, Gary Mac to but a few). We are Leeds ... we are Leeds ... we are Leeds !!

    I believe we're due around £600K compensation as the lad's been with us for 10 years.
