Totally agree with jolly roger. Classic case of an employee thinking the whole organisation will fail if they leave. Life goes on...think Mullins, Nardiello, Revell, Grabban, Alf etc...

Prings was asked for the reasons he did not sign a new contract! He has said why he didn't and all of a sudden he is a big mouth with little or no talent?
Mostly its the same people who said that Alf couldn't score in the Prem!

if pringle had said more about the constant influx of reject players that were brought in .. discarded .. and that constantly unsettled the team i could understand it but wittering on about rotherham dont know where they are going smacks of a player thinking he is a premiership quality star now when he was a championship reject and joined us in div 2

Well my point to that would be shouldn't tony be looking for a big investor and making the rufc brand attractive???
Don't get me wrong all he and Steve have done over the last few seasons is nothing short of amazing however I think we might have just peaked and we are in need of that extra boost in form of a decent investor willing to throw cash at the club with the prospect of a big return!

Good question.
I think buying what we can afford is a good start plus not paying over the odds for a player just on sentiment and past glories.
Like you say it's all about money, so let's not waste any.

The problem with us at the moment is that we are a stickleback in a very large pond! Every season is going to be a massive struggle to stay in this division unless we have lots of cash to spend on quality players.
Top half of the championship is a pipe dream this season or any other without massive investment in the club.
We as fans know that we need more people in the stadium to build up more income for the club to move forward but we are dragging our feet about extending the stadium for that to happen? I think that just about says it all.
