Some of the old kits were great. The Patrick kit as worn by Swindlehurst etc with the two thin navy stripes down the front was a top kit.

Football shirts are not football shirts anymore, the focus is on keeping the wearer cool and streamlined in the intense heat that we endure in an English winter!

Probably why I prefer the retro replica shirts.

So having seen the pictures I had high hopes for the new kit this season after recent season.

Sadly very disappointed. So cheap I was shocked. Poor stitching and cheap substandard materials. I wouldn't like to be near a candle in one!

But the plastic iron on badges even for the makers badge as well as the ram. It's a disgrace. Maximum profit and something I'm sure you won't see any about in 2 year let alone ten.

Complete and utter rip off.

I don't buy them, never have and never will - used to buy for my lad when he was little, but always thought that changing 2 or and sometimes 3 shirts every season was a rip off, but hey if the club can make money from selling to those who don't mind the quality I don't care!

That has to be the saddest thing I've ever read on a message board, Blattea. You have got old shirts vacuum packed and stashed away. Why in the of God? They are for wearing, not preserving for posterity.

I didn't have the heart to chuck away what back in the day were my prized possession along with a Patrick away top baby sick orange and the home and away centenary kits. Firefly who used to post on here wore them for a couple of seasons.

Well, my son son has only had his shirt for a couple of weeks and the letters are coming away already. Its now made by 'Um r '. Very poor indeed.

Take it back and get it swapped or a refund, unless people do that and complain, they will just keep selling crap.
