Spot on wristslasher. There's no guarantee that Clement will get us promoted this season but lets see how things develop. He will no doubt be learning far more about the players in the first few competitive games than anything seen in pre season. He knows his stuff and he was obviously right about the first choice keeper. A point against Bolton was a decent result, so for some posters it seems to come down to last nights game. Which in the grand scheme is rather irrelevant, in my opinion.

I Don't want him gone at all. I'm just saying if the performance don't change then I think it's clear he will be out his depth. We had a very strong team out there last night. Who says it's our reserves? You. Because clement dosnt know his first team yet. So let's see how he gets on in the next 5 games or so. I'll be there to cheer him on. And I sincerely hope I'm wrong about him being out of his depth. I really do. COYR

You could say that about any team. If Arsenal lose their next 4 games we should sack Wenger etc. etc. It's stupid and negative.

Of course that wasn't his best team out last night, he was resting the big guns? Clement knows his best team, of course he does!

'Who get a grip?' That's why we need the quote facility back!

But basically, anyone that wants Pearson, Jewell, or Davies anywhere near Derby. We've had ONE bad result playing a weakened team ffs!
Under the circumstances there was nothing wrong with the Bolton result, and it's not even the middle of August yet!!!

I Didn't say lose did I. I said the performance. Which let's be honest was quite worrying against a 4th tier team. Anyway that's my opinion and that's what this board is all about. Opinions. But in some cases you would think nobody else is allowed one.

You want to sack the manager after 1 league game and replace him with Nigel Pearson (!?!?!).

A league game in which we kept a clean sheet, even though our 2 best central midfielders were injured and ruled out before half-time.

That's not an opinion, that's pure insanity.

The Capital Cup is neither *********ing here nor there, and yes, that was a second string team out there.

This thread feels a bit like the padded cell of the forum!

    All written in wax crayon...

Ffs what part did I say sack him after one game. It's boring now. Look back at the previous thread's and you will see I never said sack him after one game.
