Did you have to build 8 new venues to host this? Expropriate your people for the new stadiums?

So you are saying that you didn't have to commit human rights violations to make an attractive bid? Then surely you bribed everyone on the committe, right?

There was no need for any underhand scull duggerey due to it not being run by FIFA ;-)

Everything was fair and above board Mich, we even had a bloke called Sepp Blatter making sure there was nothing dodgy going on

As for Japan, well done on a great win against the fancied South African team.

Sorry, haven't been able to get patriotic over rugby since 2011....

that was the year that the whole thing really began to unravel for me with the six nations tournament. When England played Scotland, the sister of the English Prince of Wales, the Princess Royal (who is herself English but was president of the Scottish Rugby association) sang out for Scotland with gusto - yet her son-in-law, who was captain of England, sang the British (not English) National anthem asking for God to save the Princess's mother the Queen; a lady of German extraction who married a Greek known as The Duke of Edinburgh

I got so confused trying to work out who I shouldn't be not supporting that I turned it off.

Full marks to Japan for doing a giant kill, but had to smile when I clocked at least couple that did not have slitty eyes and looked more like extras from Hawaii 5 -O than contestants off Takeshi's Castle

Enjoying the tournament so far...apart from too much reliance on video replay decisions

Living in Wales rugby has been force fed to me and after 20 years I have just about got to grips with it. Like forwards are defenders and backs are the attackers, I think?
"I think I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so" - showing my age!
As for the Welsh, well it is not a happy camp loosing the number one world kicker.
As for the English 'come on' he whispers-they hate the English-tickets are literally gold dust never any trouble though.

Let's just remember the England team isn't altogether English before knocking the Japanese
