Wrong.. All, especially the FB's have an attacking responsibility, just as the midfield have a defensive responsibility. I could argue that we did not defend to well on occasions on Saturday either and was very luck to only let one in.
Christie has been getting plaudits for getting forward and the team has been crying out for this. Should he not then go past the halfway line?
Baird.. Does Thorne not give us attacking options? So because of Baird inability to do this I should give him

Listen ya plum.. For the last time ITS NOT ABOUT EXPECTATIONS, it was scores based on Saturday only.. Read my other posts for a more general overview of where we are.

Let's have yours then. Stick your head above the parapet and have a go?

Blimey, we weren't that bad to give them all minus ratings

I stand corrected on the Butterfield then, agree with the 3.
Not so much blaming Ince or Christie but they don't work together, said this many times. However the fact is that it the makes both of them look poor. Neither had great games, hence the scores I gave them.

Angry Yes you are right they were both poor and if Clement can not find a better position for Ince then I would not start him because he contributes nothing and I don't mean just this match

Who are these "happy clappers" that you keep mentioning Angry?
And how about some "Angry Ratings"?

[i]Yourself and young D_D my good man.. The Angrymeister is not known for marking out of 10 but if you want something I would go for the following:

Carson 8/10 - Saved (excuse the pun) the day.
Christie 5/10 - Poor in the final third and someone please introduce him to Ince.
Keogh 7/10 - Did okay but needs more composure and awareness. Often heads the ball when a step back and bring it down on your chest is a better option.
Shackell 7/10 - Calm but still needs to work on his passing.
Warnock 3/10 - Apart from one cross inefffectual going forward.
    Baird 1/10 - Did nothing
Johnson 6/10 - Solid and took

Still too high for me but I know where you are coming from.
For someone to get an 8/10 they would have had to have had a great game. I don't think you can mark one player up because another player in front of him had a mare.. You have to base marks on what they did.
Re the Shackell incident that was more Warnock, he had the ball and should have been aware.. Still not pretty though from either of them.
Martin 6/10... Sorry mate but never, not on Saturdays performance and that is what we are marking.. Better service or not, HE was shocking.

Average 8/10... Yes for this squad and their abilities we should have a really high average. It's generally excepted that it is one of the strongest and when they play to their potential (in this league) they should be there or there abouts.

Got to disagree on the MOTM though.. There was a Gary Glitter look-a-like in the left hand corner, White jeans and sleeveless white Jean jacket, scarf tied around his head... Made me laugh for 90

I agree Butterfield is probably feeling the expectation a little, but his sublime pass to Warnock for the first goal got us into the match. We will see more from this lad. Stats from previous seasons don't lie.

Warnock's cut back to Johnson was perfect.

Ince may have been poor, but even when he's poor he can win matches on his own. He seems to get 3 or 4 good chances per game. A sign of a quality player. We don't want him doing all the fan pleasing tracking back and tackling. We want him in the opposition's half doing the destructive work.

Martin had a very quiet game. No service whatsoever into his feet. He needs Thorne in there to provide the ammunition. Same goes with Butterfield and Johnson. With George missing we look at 50%.

MK Dons played well. Don't forget this was something of a cup final for them.

Carson 7 - Although that could've easily been a 4, saved by Weimann
Christie 6 - A decent show of concentration from Cyrus
Warnock 6 - Solid enough, superb pull
