Anybody who thinks there a multi-billionaires out there who will spend an absolute fortune to get, and keep us in the Premier League for the love of this club are living in 'dreamland'! The Jack Haywards' & Jack Walker's of the world are no longer about, and they were bloody rare in the first place, one owner/chairmen, bar perhaps Kenwright at Everton, in the Premiership who is not there solely for the business side of the game? Hayward spent a long time in finding a buyer for this club that satisfied his wish not to sell the soul of the club purely for the sake of financial gain, I hope he doesn't end up turning in his grave if Wolves are in a serious financial mess within a few years time![/quote]

If Morgan is leaving after the alleged abuse he suffered at Preston then i wonder if he isn't bothered who he sells to. It may tak

I'd be very surprised if a very successful businessman is making a decision like this on a whim- he'll be well used to talking to disgruntled customers or partners. There's been a feeling for weeks that something isn't right behind the scenes and this is the first evidence of it. Personally I don't have a problem with Morgan, whereas I won't be upset if the Fat Controller departs.

I'm assuming that if you OWN a football club, it becomes your toy shop and you invite whoever you want to come and play?
A new owner could well mean a new CEO...

What have we got to sell ? A club three points off the bottom, parachute payment gone, quarter finished stadium, a team that will be lucky to stay up if not strengthened, home attendances probably going to average about 16000 , so SM may just get his tenner back. Despite that I would still rather have SM than some o the deadbeats and foreign scumbags buying our Clubs, we have had one experience of such owners and that nearly finished the Wolves.

You could ask what a lot of clubs had to offer. Blackburn, Blackpool, even Watford.
I agree though, we probably started the trend with leeches buying clubs in the eighties, I believe this is why Wolves fans are more sceptical and harder to convince than most.
Saviours sometimes aren't all they seem to be.

Does anyone see the announcement that Morgan wants to sell as a knee-jerk one?

Morgan has in the past gone in to the Wolves dressing room after the premier league game against Liverpool. there was also the incident where he confronted the ref on the pitch after the 2-1 defeat last season to Bournemouth.

I think that maybe he has just had enough of some of our supporters. With his money, he doesn't need the aggravation. .

My thoughts on Mr Morgan are that he has shown little class, has very poor communication skills, displayed terrible judgement on football matters ( Entering the dessingroom to berate players , not sacking Mick, sacking Mick , appointing TC, Solbakken and worst of all Saunders) and has a terrible sense of timing !

He has tried to do good things for the club, Compton (Training ground, not redrow estate) and the Stan Cullis and I appreciate he will be difficult to replace and we need to be very careful, but his lack of investment is strangling the future of the club and his leaving may be the lancing of the boil.

I agree it will need to see the CEO replaced to freshen the club up as well !
